Common questions
When should I start home nursing after surgery?+
From the first day of discharge. Wound dressings typically need changing every 24–48 hours — share your discharge summary and the nurse follows your surgeon's protocol exactly.
Can the nurse give antibiotic and pain injections?+
Yes. Share your prescription and the nurse administers the correct dose via the prescribed route (IM or IV). Medicine can be supplied through immidit or brought by you.
Is it safe to get wound care at home?+
Absolutely. Infection risk is lower at home than in hospital OPDs. Every visit uses a freshly sealed sterile kit — gloves, drapes, dressings, antiseptic. No reuse.
How many visits will I need?+
Most patients need dressing changes every 1–2 days for 7–14 days. Antibiotic shots for 5–7 days. Stitch removal once around day 7–10. Your surgeon's note specifies the schedule.
Can I combine multiple services in one visit?+
Yes — most post-op patients book a wound dressing + antibiotic injection together. The nurse handles both in one visit. Mention all services when you contact us.
